Found a piece you love? Buying artwork through Crafted Call is quick and secure. This guide walks you through finding work that's for sale, adding it to your cart, applying a discount code, and checking out — plus how to ask the gallery a question before you buy.
Finding Artwork for Sale
You can browse and buy artwork right from a gallery's public pages. Look for:
The gallery's Shop page — a single place that lists everything currently available, including exhibition pieces and gallery products
Exhibition pages — individual shows where pieces may be marked for sale
An artwork's own page — opening a piece shows its full details, price, and whether it's available
When a piece is available to purchase, you'll see its price, an availability badge (such as "For Sale" or "Available"), and an Add to Cart button. If a piece is marked Sold or Not For Sale, there won't be a buy option — but you can still reach out to the gallery (see "Have a Question?" below).
Buying with a Purchase Link
If a gallery emailed or messaged you a direct purchase link for a specific piece, you don't need to browse anything — the link takes you straight to a secure checkout page for that artwork.
Open the link the gallery sent you
Review the piece, artist, and price
Click the Buy button to continue to secure payment
Complete payment (see "Completing Checkout" below)
A few things to know about purchase links:
They're meant just for you — they aren't listed publicly or in search results
Each link is valid for a limited time. The page shows the date it's valid until.
If your link has expired or stopped working, just ask the gallery to send a fresh one — your place isn't lost
Note: If you open a link for a piece that has already sold, you'll see a message letting you know. Reach out to the gallery if you think that's a mistake.
Adding to Cart
On the Shop or an artwork page, click Add to Cart to set a piece aside. Your cart belongs to that one gallery, so you can gather several pieces from the same gallery and pay for them together.
Open your cart to review the items and the subtotal
Adjust quantities or remove a piece if you change your mind

Applying a Coupon or Promo Code
If the gallery gave you a discount code, you can use it before you pay.
In your cart, find the Promo Code field
Type your code and click Apply
The discount updates your total right away
If a code doesn't work, double-check the spelling, and confirm with the gallery that it's still valid and applies to your items. To remove a code, click Remove next to it.
Completing Checkout
Crafted Call processes payments securely through Stripe, a trusted global payment provider. The gallery never sees your full card number.
From your cart, continue to Checkout
Enter your email — your receipt and any updates go here
Click Continue to payment
Enter your card and billing details on the secure Stripe payment screen
Confirm your purchase
If the gallery ships work, you may be asked for a shipping address; if it's a pickup, the gallery will follow up about collecting your piece.
Receipts & Confirmation
As soon as your payment succeeds:
You'll receive an order confirmation email at the address you entered
The gallery is notified and will be in touch about pickup or shipping
The piece is marked sold, so no one else can buy the same original out from under you
Tip: Keep your confirmation email. It's your record of the purchase, the price you paid, and who you bought from.
Have a Question About a Piece?
Want to ask about condition, framing, dimensions, shipping, or whether something not currently listed is available? Use the gallery's Inquire option.
Open the artwork you're interested in
Look for an Inquire button (often labeled "Inquire About This Work")
Fill in your name, email, an optional phone number, and your message
Send it
The gallery receives your inquiry and will reply by email. This is the best way to start a conversation before — or instead of — buying online.
FAQs
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments are handled by Stripe over an encrypted connection. The gallery receives your order but not your card details.
Can I buy pieces from two different galleries at once?
Your cart is tied to a single gallery, so you check out with one gallery at a time. Simply complete one purchase, then start a new cart with the next gallery.
I didn't get a confirmation email — what now?
Check your spam folder first. If it's still missing, contact the gallery directly using their Inquire option, or reach out to support.
My purchase link doesn't work.
Links are time-limited. Ask the gallery to send a fresh link and you'll be able to finish your purchase.
