For Artists
How do I find calls to submit to?
Visit the Calls page from the main navigation. Use filters to narrow results by medium, location, deadline, or fee. You can also save calls to follow them and receive updates.
Can I edit my submission after submitting?
Yes, you can edit your submission any time until the call's deadline passes. After the deadline, submissions lock for jury review. If you need an urgent change after the deadline, contact the hosting organization directly.
How do I know if my submission was accepted?
You'll receive an email notification when the gallery updates your submission status. You can also check your submissions dashboard at any time — each submission shows its current status (Submitted, Under Review, Accepted, Rejected, or Waitlisted).
What image formats are accepted?
Crafted Call accepts JPG/JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, and HEIF image formats. We recommend images at least 1920px on the longest side, in the sRGB color space, and under the file-size limit shown on the call page.
How do I get paid for artwork sales?
The gallery running the exhibition controls payout timing and method. Crafted Call can show sales and payout records when the gallery uses those tools, but many galleries pay artists through their normal accounting process and record the payment afterward. Contact the gallery if you have questions about a specific payout.
What happens if I'm waitlisted?
Being waitlisted means you're on a ranked list. If accepted artists withdraw or the gallery expands the show, waitlisted artists may be promoted. You'll receive a notification if your status changes.
For Gallery Owners
How do I create my first call?
Navigate to Admin > Calls > New Call. Fill in the basic details (title, description, deadline), configure submission requirements, set fees, and save. You can save as a draft to review before publishing. See our Creating Your First Call guide for a step-by-step walkthrough.
Can I import calls from another platform?
Yes, depending on the source platform and export quality. Crafted Call includes an ArtCall CSV import path for standard exports, and other migrations can be scoped from CSV, spreadsheet, or structured exports. Larger migrations, image transfers, and active-call transitions should be reviewed with support before import.
How do jury members access the platform?
Invite jurors from the Jury tab on any call page. They'll receive an email invitation with a unique link to register and begin reviewing. Jurors don't need a separate subscription.
